EAA AirVenture Tuesday 07/22 0900-1000 at the Pilot Proficiency Center, Conference Room B

The Learn-Do-Fly™ framework is a three-step optimal learning experience that integrates self-study with personal instruction from qualified instructors. We’ll share the results of our experiment with the Intro to Stalled Flight course in three regional markets and our plans for growth across the USA +.

After the experiment on optimal learning at AirVenture last year, Rich Stowell created the Intro to Stalled Flight {ISF) course. We subsequently conducted an experiment at three flight training centers with select instructors:

1. SoCal at CP Aviation and Aviation Instruction
2. The Treasure Valley of Idaho with Snake River Flyers
3. Berkshire Aviation in New England

Twenty people enrolled in the course, with 15 having already completed it. There are five left to complete the DO and FLY part in the New England region. Feedback from the students and the instructors is phenomenal. We've just launched version 2.0 and are already working already on a next version which we will share

Our plans are to expand the course across the country with select flight training centers and instructors. We'd love to share more about our plans and get your feedback on this experiment.
